 Postponement Notice–RVA 10 Year Celebration

In accordance with the current COVID-19 guidance and the actions being taken at the federal, state, and university levels to facilitate social distancing by suspending large group gatherings, the Ross Volunteer Association is postponing the RVA 10 Year Celebration scheduled for March 21 in Duncan Dining Hall. We will keep you informed of our plans to reschedule the celebration at a later date in 2020. To ensure this message reaches everyone who may be impacted, this notice was sent to ALL current and former RVs in our email database, regardless of RSVP status. Those who purchased a ticket(s) for the event online may choose to have their current ticket(s) held and honored at the rescheduled event, or request a refund. A separate email will be sent within the week to those to whom this applies.The health and well being of our members and their families is our number one priority! We thank you for your understanding and look forward to gathering with you to celebrate the RVA 10 Year Anniversary once a new date has been set.

Come be a part of the celebration as the Ross Volunteer Association marks its 10 year anniversary! This celebration will serve as the RVA 2020 Spring Event and will be held at Duncan Dining Hall on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 11:30 AM to 2:00PM.  The celebration schedule of events is as follows:

• 11:30am Check-in, Social Time, RV Memorabilia on Display*
• 11:50am Welcome & RV Group Photo
• 12:00pm Fajita Lunch Buffet Catered by J. Cody's
• 12:40pm RVA Update and Presentations & RV Commander Brief
•  1:00pm Guest Speaker–US Congressman Bill Flores '76 (with Q&A)
•  1:30pm Program Wrap Up / Move to Quad
•  1:40pm Good Bull Drill Practice (for forrmer RVs led by current RVs)
•  2:00pm Drill Practice Concludes
•  2:15pm Tour of Music Activities Center (optional)

RV Class Reunions are encouraged! Reach out to your RV buddies and spread the word, or contact your RV Class Representative (find list here) if interested in helping to ensure your RV Class is well represented at this celebration!

Meals are complimentary for current RVA members and 1 guest. 

Additional guests and non-current RVA members will be $15.

Meal is complimentary for RV cadets.

Please submit your RSVP by Sunday, March 8, 2020 using the button below to order your meal tickets (including complimentary meal tickets). This will allow us to provide an accurate meal count to the caterer. If you are planning to participate in the Drill Practice and/or the MAC Tour, please indicate so in your RSVP. The RSVP screen will appear after you click "Submit Transaction" in the order process.
