We had an awesome turnout for the RVA Fall Event on Sunday, October 29 in Aggieland! Close to 140 current and former RVs and guests enjoyed this annual opportunity to gather in Duncan Dining Hall, share a meal, and hear news and updates on the Corps, the RV Company, and the RVA. This year's Spring Event featured not only a Lunch Meeting & Social in Duncan on Saturday April 1, but also a Wine Tasting Social at Messina Hof in Bryan on the Friday evening prior. A hotel block at a special discounted rate was arranged for the weekend at the Texas A&M Hotel on campus. As the RVA prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2020, our focus for 2019 is to increase annual membership participation by 25%. We have an average current membership of 450, and each year we welcome a substantial number of new first-year members. Lifetime Membership in the RVA is granted to RV alumni who make a $5,000 membership donation to the organization in a one-time payment or within a five year period. Since the Association's formation in 2010, thirty-one RVs have fulfilled their commitment to support the RV Company through Lifetime Membership in the RVA. Lifetime Members receive a personal recognition plaque and a gold lapel pin with a diamond. In addition, their names are engraved on the Ross Volunteer Association Lifetime Members plaque which is displayed in the RV Company Advisor's Office on the Quad and showcased at all RVA events...
